Well tonight..I went to my first.
It was interesting!! Some of the people and their ugly sweaters...and to think, some people actually wear these in REAL LIFE!! lmao. YIKESSSSSSSS!
Unfortunately, yesterday, I received really bad news, twice in less than 24 hours. I found out my cousin's long time boyfriend passed away and my long time, loan-officer, Sandy passed away. Death is a scary thing. It seems as its more privalent now, than ever. A few weeks ago, my Uncle Frank, my grandpas brother passed away and we knew it was coming...but just thought it wouldn't have came as fast as it did. Finding out about my loan-officer, Sandy's death, really hit close to me, because I talked to her all the time, saw her a friend/family functions and didn't even know she was sick. She found out she had Cancer on October 30th and passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2008. It's such a terrible thing and death reminds me, that TOMORROW is not promised. All of the times we have fueds with our friends and family and loved ones, its sooOOOooo not worth it. I just try and love EVERYONE, live life to the fullest and hopefully my friends and family will do the same.

SooOooo...in this recession that we have...companies still are trying to make it...and with that said, the company that I work for, BCBG is trying to make it too.
I have an entire week off, NO PAY, in effort to not face any more layoffs. Its really gonna hit my pockets soon. Hopefully I get a few temp assignments this week, and maybe I'll have a little extra money to squeeze in...but I am not toOoOoOOO sure about that.
I do know that I have been able to catch up with a few friends because of me not working this week.
Last night we went to Chocolate Sundaes, at the Laugh Factory. We went to the 10 PM show, that didn't start until 11:15. Didn't get out til 1:30...but it was great!
I am going to Basketball game tonight with my friend Craig. I haven't seen him for about a month or two.
So...at least I get to catch up with friends, family and my blog =) while I am not working this week.
I can't believe Christmas just passed so fast like a blink of an eye...it was so short and I am really sad because my Grandma from Kansas came to Cali for Xmas and she just left yesterday. Its always so sad when we leave each other..because..she is really like my 2nd mother. She raised me too. All of my family is in Kansas..all of my cousins, uncles, and aunts. Christmas in Kansas is fabulous...it snows, my family is there and its such a fun time with all of us cousins. We haven't been together for Christmas since I was like 10 or 11. That was a LONG TIME AGO.
Next year, My Christmas will be spent in Kansas,with Terek and my Mom and hopefully my brother will get to go too. It will be a big Christmas...all of my cousins...and family. The Millers...we are Crazyyy...but I love it.
But for now..enjoy the Christmas Pix...with just Grannie, Momma and my Lil brother and me.
